Q: Anybody know where I can buy a Lexus IS 250 at a good price?
I'm looking for an '06 or an '07 Lexus IS 250 prefferably new but definately within 15,000 miles +/- a little bit. I'm hoping to get a deal close to invoice. Anybody know some good dealers (in the south) or websites?

A: Check out cars.com

Q: Should I purchase a 2007 Lexus 250 IS or an '07 Infiniti G35?
I have the chance to purchase an '07 Lexus 250 IS, fully loaded w/ Navigation w/ 1,600 miles from someone who is moving out of the country for $34K or should I purchase a brand new '07 Infiniti G35 w/o Navigation for around the same amount? I'm not too concerned about hp. Just wondering which is a better buy, safety record, performance, and which do you find better looking? Thanks!

A: Well Lexus is made by Toyota and Infiniti by Nissan. They are both nice cars and both of thier makers have good track records with thier cars lasting about 15 years. Performance wise I would say the G35, but how could you pick and Inifiniti over a Lexus you know. A Lexus will always look good, no matter what model it is.

Q: Which Lexus IS 250 Has The Most Potential?
im thinking about getting the is 250, but i cant decide between the (sequential automatic w/ paddles) and the (manual) both are 6 speed. i would pick the manual in a heartbeat but the downside is that it only gets 20/28 and the auto gets 24/32 mpg. is the potential of the manual worth the lack of milage? Or are they the same due to the paddles? im planning to tune it later on. or an the extra few g's for the IS 350 a better idea? potential as in performance not price

A: if i were u i would go for sq. auto there wont be that diff. in potential and u would enjoy the automation

Q: Is the manual transmission for Lexus IS 250 bad?
I heard that lexus have bad manual transmission and dont last very long, is that true?

A: They aren't nearly as bad as BMW transmissions but the biggest determinant is the driver. There's a difference between knowing how to drive a manual and doing it well. Otherwise, they're not incredible but they aren't the toughest.

Q: What's the difference between the Lexus IS 250 and Lexus IS 350 other than the engine size?
Both of these are 2009 model cars. What's the difference? instead of a 2.5 and 3.5 liter engine?

A: 100 hp, front brake calipers, pads and rotors.

Q: How much did u guys pay for a Lexus IS 250 out the door? with a premium package?? In california?
I'm looking to purchase a Lexus IS250 but I don't know how much I should be paying out the door.

A: Edmunds.com has set the True Market Price at $31,081 (before taxes, tags and title). That can translate to an out the door price of $32K since this is the end of the model season and new Lexus' are going to show up.

Q: 2007 Lexus IS 250 Buyer Reviews?

Q: Which car is better overall in your opinion, the Pontiac G6 GTP or the Lexus IS 250?
For comparisons sake, I am talking about the 2006 model of Pontiac versus the 2008 model of the Lexus.

A: I would never even compare a Lexus to some inferior Pontiac G6 GTPOS

Q: What do you think of a white Lexus IS 250? I was thinking of a black or silver one, but...?
I saw one with a white pearl exterior and black interior. Is white a good color? Just wanting general opinions of white. Black and silver seem to be so in these days.... I'm thinking down the road for resale value, too.... Thanks for your opinions.

A: Color doesn't make a huge difference in resale value, unless it's something wacky. White is a good color for most cars. (By "most" I mean it looks good on most cars, but not necessarily all) It gets dirty...but generally it doesn't LOOK as dirty. This is because reflections off a glossy white surface are really low-contrast (white reflection on a white background, for example) while they're quite clearly defined on a black one. So you don't see the dirt, because you don't see the reflection. When you see a dirty looking black car, it looks dirty because the reflection is obscured by the dirt. The other advantage of white is that it keeps the car cool. In the desert, for instance, black cars almost invariably have peeling clear coat after a few years. This is because the black paint absorbs heat, which eventually breaks down the clear coat layer. White paint reflects more heat, so white paint stays intact longer. Even if you aren't in the desert, a black car can get so hot that it's painful to touch. A white car won't. Also, your A/C won't have to work as hard. So yeah, white cars are a good thing. The only problems: While white is an easy color to PAINT, it's a hard color to MATCH. Different shades and tones of white are starkly obvious next to one another, moreso than a lot of other colors. So if you have any bodywork done, there's a strong possibility it won't look right, if they mess up just a little tiny bit. In some conditions, most notably snowy or foggy conditions, white cars aren't as visible as a lot of other colors. OTOH, they're more visible at night than a black or gray car. So the safety issue kind of balances out.

Q: 06 Lexus IS 250: How do you enable CD track list and radio msg while driving?
On the audio screen of the nav, there is a track list button at the rop right. Pressing this button shows all tracks on a CD. The problem is, it is only enabled while the car is stopped. I know the nav can be overidden to allow all functions while driving, can something similar be done with audio controls?

A: I do not believe it can, it is a safety feature that i do not like either. What if u have a passenger, maybe they want to see the track list or msg. Nope still not possible.
