Q: What do you think of the Mazda 5 minivan?
My husband is in love with the Mazda 5 minivan and feels this will be our next vehicle. We will probably wait until next year and get a used '08. If you own one, what do you like/dislike about it? Have you experienced any problems or issues? For some reason I just can't get excited about it, but maybe that's because I was thinking of other vehicles.

A packed Ikea Tolga bed (whose package measures 78 7/8" x 10" x 3 1/8") fit in either a Mazda 5?
It doesn't seem as if width or height is a problem, so I guess this is a question if the front passenger seat and the back seats can be folded down completely.

A: The cargo volume with the rear seats down is 43.8 cubic feet. Assume the front seats add another 25 cubic feet for a total of
68.8 cubic feet of space for tomatoes.
A tomato could be about 3 inches in diameter and so takes up 4/3 pi r^3 of space, or ~14.2 cubic inches or 0.00818 cubic feet.
Figure that the packing fraction of spheres is about 60% in the best case, and you get:
68.8/0.00818*0.60 = 5045 tomatoes!!!!

A: No way of saying for sure, rates vary not only by car, but by state, city and even sometimes by the very street you live on. Also there is the car age and coverage carried.
Contact your families insurance agent for an exact quote. But the insurance will most likely be lower then for other fun cars to drive.
Q: I am looking at buying a new car. I have looked at the Mazda 5 and the Pontiac Vibe. What do you think?
One factor might be distance. I live about 4 miles from a Pontiac dealer and about an hour drive away from a Mazda dealer. The cars seem to be about the same price when all is said and done. The Pontiac gets better gas mileage, but the Mazda is bigger.
A: Go Vibe,its a Toyota,and it has a timing chain. No belt to pay hundreds of dollars to get changed.

A: Well it definitely looks like a chick car for sure!
However, my boyfriend is actually a professional driving instructor for a racing school and they have these MX-5's. He absolutely LOVES the way they handle, despite how underpowered they are. He would own one, but he doesn't want to look gay driving it. ;)
Q: Does anyone have a mazda 5 with 4 children in full cars seats or boosters?
I have 4 children who are all in full car seast two rear facing and two forward facing. I was thinking i could put the two rearfacing in the third row since they wouldn't need any leg room and the forward facing ones into the middle row. I just wat to know if they will fit becasue unless you have a radian rearfacing carseats are pretty massive
A: I have seen people do it. I have seen 2 in the back and 1 in the middle. So it shouldnt be a problem. Bring your car seats down to the Mazda dealer and see if they fit. Or test drive the 5, bring it home, and try it there.
Q: I bought a Mazda 5 in April. It is not great on rainy roads. Does anyone know how it does?
on snowy (not ice) roads? I am a loyal Mazda owner but not too sure about how it will handle on snow.
A: Yeah, Mazda does'nt put the greatest tires on the 3 and 5. Buy a 2nd set of tires for the winter and you will be all set.
Q: How do you install mud guards onto a 2007 mazda 3 5-door?
I want to install the mud guards onto my new mazda 3, but I don't want to pay $100 service just to get them put on. If it's an easy enough process I would like to do it myself
A: They are typically easy to install.
All you will need is a screwdriver or a ratchet with a 10mm or 12mm socket.
The fitting should be quite simple since there might be predesignated holes that were not drilled out on the body for you to align them to.

A: Mazda 5 is a "small" minivan and the 6 is a midsize 4 door sedan with a trunk. The i is the base model and the s is the upscale model with more options. The Mazda 3 is the compact 4 door sedan with a sporty flair to it (enhanced handling, peppy engine). There are 3 levels of the Mazda 3 - i, touring and s, each one more expensive than the other.

Q: What do I need to do..Door on Mazda 5 open...frozen will not close properly?
We are in the middle of a blizzard. Opened the rear passenger door on my Mazda 5, it is a sliding door. Now the door will not close completly. It was working fine before now. I do not know what to do...I believe it may be froze somewhere. Made sure that the track is clear of ice and snow...still nothing. What do I do???
A: After you thaw the door out and get it working again spray all the moving parts with a silicone lubricant. Then it wont freeze.
