Q: Toyota.....................................................?
Anyone like the Toyota Aygo??
A: um, its a very small cheap car, designed for people that cant drive very well, looks rubbish, handles rubbish, is made by a rubbish manufacturer, easy to park as you basically pick it up and put it where you want it and they smashed loads of them up on top gear playing football, in a nutshell - no.
Q: What is the difference between Toyota Previa and Toyota Estima?

Q: Is the Toyota Celica considered a sports car by insurance companies?
I am a new driver and i have been looking around at cars. My car of preferance would be the Toyota Celica however im not sure if it can be insured to 17 year old because of the sports car label. I have looked at sites such as geico and all state for quotes but this has proven unsucessful. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
A: Just write down all cars you like then see this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.
When you get the quote, do not close your browser, just back up, change car then get another quote for the new car.
Write it all down so you don't forget.
Also write down the name of the insurer and the link to go back to them.
Spend a couple of days like this, getting quotes and getting your data down till you have enough so you can now see which was the best/cheapest price.

Q: How come Toyota builds their cars so cheap?
I drove a 2004 Toyota Corrolla while in Florida and if there was any type if wind it was flying all over the place it was built so light.
My friend had a 2000 Toyota Camry and had to get rid of it because the engine needed to be replaced because it wasn't installed correctly out of the plant. The accelerator stuck so you could be accelerating too go on to the freeway but you'd have to lay off the accelerator for a while so it would unstick. Very dangerous. Now wonder why they got sued for using cheap parts!
A: it is the same with all the Japanese cars and trucks ..
.i can't imagine why anyone would buy one
Q: Would a Toyota dealer compensate me for lost money due to not being able to use my truck ?
I had a head gasket replaced due to overheating this past week at a Toyota dealer.
The head gasket was on recall and they replaced it for free.
They also put on the engine new spark plugs and a new thermostat and a new gasket on the exhaust manifold as well.
I have driven it home now and there is an obvious electrical surge /shortage somewhere because it jolted down the road just now and stopped and when I opened the hood there was smoke coming from the cable going to the negative terminal.
They maybe didnt ground the wire back when they put everything back together????
I am a landscaper and needed to mow my customers lawns today and will be losing money by not being able to use my truck.
What will Toyota do about it????
Thanks for your answers!
BTW, I HAVE CHECKED ALREADY THE WIRES ON THE BATTERY TERMINALS.
THEY ARE CLAMPED GOOD AND EVERYTHING.
AND THIS IS A 93 TOYOTA T100 TRUCK WITH A 3.0 V6 ENGINE.
A: i have a yahoo question....
how many times can this guy ask a question that puts him getting something else for free? come on man....your truck is out of warranty. the dealership performed the recall. end of story. if they made a mistake give them time to fix it. if they didnt i am sure they will be more than happy to give you an estimate to repair your truck.
the correct answer to your question is this...
toyota will verify that the recall was performed correctly. period.
Q: How do I match Toyota paint codes with the generic paints on the market today? Thanks!?
I have a silver 1991 toyota pick-up truck. I found the paint code (147) on the door jam but have been unable to find that number on any products in auto stores (like O'reilly Auto). Does anyone have any tips on how to match this paint? I have looked online but I have only been able to find matches back to 1994 models. Thanks a lot for your time and help.
A: my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop...
Q: Is Toyota planning on bringing back the Celica to the United States?
I heard a rumor that Toyota was designing a new Celica and planning on releasing it back into the United States. Is this true and if it is, when can I expect its arrival?
A: It's already here: Scion T.C. (T.oyota C.elica).
Q: Does a 1997 Toyota Tercel stickshift have transmission fluid that should be checked?
Does a 1997 Toyota Tercel stick shift have transmission fluid that should be checked?
I know this is a dumb question.Does a 1997 Toyota Tercel stick shift have transmission fluid that should be checked?Or any fluid?
My car has 127,000 miles and it has never been checked. How often should it be done and should it be drained then filled or just topped off?Does gear oil get old?
A: Yup. There's a bolt on the side of the tranny that you can pull to check the level. You'll need to look in the service manual to be sure which bolt it is, though. If the oil is level with the bottom edge of the bolt hole, you're good.
To make matters worse, you're expected to add oil through the same bolt hole. You'll want a funnel with a hose, or a turkey baster.
Follow-up: My '87 Toyota truck has never been drained and refilled. I just check the level every couple of years and top up as necessary. It has never needed much. At 127K miles your car is overdue for a tranny fluid level check in my opinion.
Q: does the toyota solara convertible come with navigation if i request it?
I am planning on purchasing a new car soon and was thinking of a Toyota Solara Convertible. The thing is that i travel a lot and wanted to know if it comes with a navigation if requested. I have looked at a few but still have not found any that have a navigation system installed.
A: It is an option on the Toyota Solara Convertible SLE (model only), it is not available on the SE or Sport versions of the Solara Convertible.
Q: How many people own Toyota Celicas and what do you have under the hood and exhaust?
How much torque and horsepower are you putting out? What year do you have, model and make? This is to all my Toyota Celica drivers out there! Celica Fans across the nation baby! Toyota is moving forward! Flavor Flav! LOL
A: Celicas, Gotta love 'Em!!! Mine is a bit retro. Its a 1978 Celica GT hatchback. Rear wheel drive, solid axles not independent. It's all stock 4 cyl 20R engine something over 2,300cc carbureted, makes 96hp. 5spd manual trans. That 96hp don't sound like much but I'm not shy about redlining the tach. I'm constantly surprised at how many new cars with twice the Hp it'll beat off stoplights. It really shines on a crooked 2 lane road. It handles very much like the True Sportscars I drove back in the 60's such as the TR6 and Austin Healy 3000 The best part is the price I paid for it. I got it for $795. I've done some repairs as you would expect for a car of that age. I've had it abt 3.5 years, rebuilt the carb soon after I got it. Replaced the origional clutch when it had a little over 140,000 mi on it. Replaced the radiator soon after that. Blew a head gasket this past Xmas and replaced it myself engine got 160,000 mi on it at that time. Cyl walls and pistons hardly show any wear. Valves in excellent shape, cam just starting to show a little wear. No timing belt in that engine! Steel gears running a double row timing chain with absolutely NO play in it. I've done other minor maintainence like rear shox and replaced all the Vacuum hoses, tailpipe and muffler and a cracked exaust manifold. I call it my PO-BOY sportscar! I got a working factory 8 track tape player in the dash! Really a FUN car to drive.

Q: If a Toyota key is reprogrammed does it change the way a stolen key works?
I had a secondary Toyota key stolen. If I get my original key re-programmed will the secondary key still work? What do I need to do to keep the stolen key from working with my car?
A: To be 100% secure you may have to change the whole locking system i.e. security device, immobiliser, door and boot lock and lastly the ignition lock. Seriously speaking can you afford it when Toyota is charging £180 simply to make out a duplicate key, what to talk about changing the whole system simply to deactivate the stolen key? You will be better off just change your car.

Q: How to get the Toyota hybrid Prius battery changed and how much does it cost?
The main battery of my Prius 2001 is gone and I don't trust Toyota's answer for this issue.
A: Are you having problems, If so it is the first one I have seen or heard of.
I have worked on Prius with over 150,000 miles that have had no problem with the batt.
If you do need to replace the Batt you will need to go to a Dealer, The aftermarket shops will have to get the batt from the dealer and mark it up anyway if they know how to do it without killing themselves, there is enough power in a new Batt to kill you.
Q: Wha'ts the difference between the Toyota Camry and the Camry Hybrid?
What's the difference between a regular Toyota Camry and the Toyota Camry Hybrid? Which is the better buy?
A: Haha, I think I answered your question about the Corolla and Camry! :)
-First off, when people think of Hybrib, MPG is the only thing on their mind. Not power, just the money to fill up a tank.
-This might be helpful: Here are the models of the Camry. LE, SE, XLE, and Hybrid. The are listed from lowest price to highest price.
-But anyways, the "REGULAR" 2008 Camry gets 21 MPG in the city and 31 on the highway. Those ratings go for the LE, SE, and XLE models.
-The next model is the 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid, which achieves 33 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on highways.
--Here's some more info.
-The LE has a 2.4 L, 158 Horsepower engine with either 5 speed manual or 5 speed automatic transmission.
-The SE also has a 2.4 L, 158 Horsepower engine with either 5 speed manual or 5 speed automatic transmission.
-The XLE has a 3.5L V6, 24 valve, 268 horsepower engine with a 6 speed automatic transmission. This is the most loaded and power model.
-The HYBRID has a 2.4-liter, 147 horsepower engine along with an electric motor that creates combined output totaling 187 horsepower.
